We’ve funded a range of projects to guide our roadmap for the future

DRI Federation Cybersecurity Roadmap development

This project, led by STFC and the University of Bristol, will work with the DRI community supported by domain and sector experts from Jisc, NCC Group and MartinH.Net to explore the potential for common approaches to DRI Federation cybersecurity under the aegis of the DRI Cybersecurity Community.

The project’s primary deliverable will be a DRI Federation Cybersecurity Roadmap for consideration by UKRI. The roadmap will set out a proposed programme of work and indicative costings to implement a consistent and robust approach to cybersecurity across the federated DRI estate including points of access to the DRI for the research community and their national and international collaborators.
Project deliverables will include community events, the draft DRI Federation Cybersecurity Roadmap, feedback to UKRI / DSIT stakeholders around potential policy and strategy directions, and feedback to NCSC on CAF.

The nascent Community of Practice will also be an important byproduct of the project as we expect it to evolve into a Working Group which will take forward the roadmap.
