London, March 2025 – The National Federated Compute Services NetworkPlus (NFCS-N+) officially launched with a two-day event held on March 5–6 at One Moorgate Place, London.
The opening day set the stage by outlining the purpose of the NetworkPlus and its role in fostering collaboration through federation. Attendees were introduced to the NFCS-N+ project’s goals and objectives, before hearing from a range of invited speakers representing national and international federation initiatives. The day also included focused sessions on the three central pillars of NFCS-N+: Community, Technology and Governance.
The second day of the event shifted towards network building and community development, again framed around the three pillars. Discussions centred on generating project ideas that could secure future funding and further advance the NetworkPlus vision. The event also offered an important forum for participants to connect with potential collaborators and explore opportunities for long-term cooperation.
