Expressions of interest: Workshop on Exploring the Role of High-Performance Computing (HPC) in the Built Environment

The NFCS funded project “Enhancing HPC adoption through user-centred design” is looking for expressions of interest for their workshop on Exploring the Role of High-Performance Computing (HPC) in the Built Environment.

Location: In-person, Conference Aston, Birmingham, B4 7ET

This one-day workshop will bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from across the built environment sector to explore how High-Performance Computing (HPC) can enable innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability. This workshop is part of the UKRI funded project “Enhancing HPC adoption through user-centred design: A roadmap for inclusive innovation in environment, health, and the built environment” Discussions will focus on:

  • Barriers and challenges to HPC adoption
  • Trust, privacy, and governance in data use
  • A roadmap for inclusive and interdisciplinary HPC development

Your insights and professional experience would make a valuable contribution to shaping the future direction of HPC-enabled research and practice in the built environment.
