NFCS-N+ Launch Event
On the 5th and 6th of March 2025, the Launch Event for the National Federated Compute Services NetworkPlus was held in London, at One Moorgate Place.
On the first day of this two day event, the focus of the talks and discussions was on exploring the purpose of the NetworkPlus and Federation. It included an introduction to NFCS-N+ project and its goals and objectives, followed by invited talks from national and international federation projects. This was followed by sessions focusing on the three pillars of NFCS-NP: Community, Technology, and Governance.
The second day focused on building networks and community, in the context of the three pillars of NFCS-N+, and exploring ideas for projects that might attract funding to support the goal of this NetworkPlus. As well as sharing ideas, it also provided the opportunity for participants to meet with potential future collaborators.
The event allowed for remote participation, slides and talk recordings are available here.
